Crop images precisely in your browser: preset aspect ratios for every platform (1:1 profile pictures, 16:9 covers, 9:16 stories), rotate and flip controls, an exact pixel readout of the crop box, and export at the exact size you type. Downloads as PNG, JPG or WebP — and your image never leaves your device.
A 4000 × 3000 phone photo becoming a website banner: lock 16:9, drag the box onto the subject, type output width 1600 (the height fills in as 900), and export JPG — a banner that drops straight into the page at a fraction of the original file weight.
The crop is computed against the original full-resolution image, not the on-screen preview: the editor tracks the crop box in real image pixels, applies rotation and flips as transforms, and renders the final canvas with high-quality smoothing at exactly the requested output dimensions. JPG exports are flattened onto white so transparent areas never turn black.
Profile pictures: 1:1. Video covers: 16:9. Phone stories and reel covers: 9:16. Classic prints: 3:2 (6×4) or 4:3. Product listings usually want 1:1 or 4:3 — the destination’s help page states it.
The crop itself works at the original resolution — pixels inside the box are copied, not re-shot. Quality only drops if you export far larger than the crop box (upscaling) or choose a low JPG quality.
When an aspect ratio is locked, width and height must stay proportional, so the tool keeps them in step. Switch the ratio to Free if you need independent dimensions.
Yes — PNG and WebP exports keep transparency. JPG does not support it, so transparent areas are placed on white instead.
No. The editor runs entirely in your browser; your photos never leave your device.
