Choose a PDF, drag the sliders to trim the margins, check the preview, then download the cropped copy. The crop is applied to the real page boxes, so the trimmed area is genuinely removed. Runs fully in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
Trim the wide white margins off scanned pages, or cut a PDF down to the part that matters — with a live preview of exactly what stays.

Crop PDF pages by trimming their margins: drag four sliders, watch the kept area in a live preview, and apply the crop to all pages or a chosen range. The trimmed area is genuinely removed, not just hidden.
A scanned book has 18% white margin on every side, making the text tiny on a phone. Cropping 12% left and right and 10% top and bottom makes the same pages fill the screen, and the printouts stop wasting a border of paper around every page.
The crop is written into the page boxes the PDF format defines (MediaBox and CropBox), which is the real geometry every reader and printer uses — the trimmed content is outside the page, not painted over. No page is re-rendered, so text stays selectable and image quality is unchanged. The preview is rendered in your browser at screen size purely to guide the sliders.
From the downloaded copy, yes: the page boxes shrink to the area you kept, and content outside them is outside the page for every reader and printer. Your original file on your device is never changed.
The sliders work in percent of each page because PDFs mix page sizes. On an A4 page, 10% of the width is about 21 mm and 10% of the height about 30 mm, so you can translate a target trim quickly.
Crop removes edges; Resize scales the whole page, content included, onto a different page size. Crop when the content is fine but the margins are not; resize when the page size itself must change.
Yes — choose Page range and set the from and to pages. Pages outside the range keep their original boxes.
Barely — the point is geometry, not compression. Content outside the crop is excluded from the visible page, and the file shrinks only slightly. For a smaller file, use Compress PDF afterwards.
